Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is soliciting quotes for the rental of one temporary high pressure Nitrogen gas tube trailer to be located at Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton, Connecticut. This procurement is a total Small Business Set-Aside and will be awarded to the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable offeror, though the government reserves the right to award based on the ability to meet the required schedule. The period of performance consists of a base period from December 1, 2026, to December 28, 2026, with an option period extending to January 11, 2027. The contractor must provide startup training and several key deliverables, including test/inspection reports, certificates of compliance for purity and cleanliness, and technical operating instructions. Nitrogen must be dry, oil-free, and meet specific grade standards such as A-A-59155 or MIL-PRF-27401. Equipment is supplied FOB Destination and must undergo operational testing within fifteen days of delivery to ensure conformance.
