RENTAL OF VEHICLES

The United States Embassy in Kingston, Jamaica is seeking quotations for a firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract to rent six vehicles—four SUVs (minimum 5-seater), one minivan (minimum 7-seater), and one pickup truck (5-seater, 4-door)—to support field operations and cross-country travel through mountainous regions. All vehicles must be at least three years old, equipped with automatic transmission, power windows, functional door and safety locks, a fully operational air conditioning system, factory tinting, antilocking brakes, AM/FM radio, and Bluetooth connectivity is preferred. Fuel type must be gasoline or diesel. The monthly rental rate for each vehicle type must include all costs: insurance coverage, unlimited mileage, maintenance management, repair and replacement services, fuel, oil, administrative and managerial overhead, and passenger and vehicle protection. The contract price is fixed for the entire performance period with no adjustments permitted, and value-added tax (VAT) must not be included in any pricing. The estimated total value of all orders under the contract is $39,000,000 JMD, and the government will place orders for a minimum of three vehicles. Substitutions for unavailable models are allowed only with the Contracting Officer’s approval, and billing remains based on the original ordered vehicle type.
