The United States Embassy in Kingston, Jamaica invites quotations for vehicle rental services which consist of the rental of six (6) vehicles of varying types, to accommodate frequent cross-country travel and field operations through and within mountainous regions. Requirements of rental contract to include vehicle insurance coverage, vehicle maintenance management, unlimited mileage, repair and replacement options.
Vehicle types include SUV (minimum 5 seater), minivan (minimum 7 seater) and pickup truck (5 seater, 4doors). All vehicles shall meet the following minimum specifications:
- Vehicle age: At least 3 years
- Fuel Type – Gasoline/Diesel
- Automatic Transmission
- Automatic (power windows)
- Functional door locks and safety locks
- Fully functional air conditioning system
- Factory tinted
- Antilocking Braking System (ABS)
- AM/FM Radio
- Bluetooth Connectivity (preferred)
Responses must include a compliance checklist that shows where specifications for the quoted vehicles equal or exceed the minimum required specifications.
Quotations should show the monthly rental cost for each type of vehicle. The prices quoted shall be firm-fixed-price and shall include all costs necessary for insurance, fueling, overhead, general and administrative expenses, and profit required to perform the contract.The contract price shall remain fixed throughout the period of performance and shall not be subject to adjustment after award.
