The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is seeking information from industry vendors regarding options to replace or upgrade its aging print to mail (PTM) equipment and associated networking infrastructure. This includes high-speed printers, inserter machines, and the servers that support these operations, along with the related software such as the Automated Document Factory (ADF), job routing software, and production management tools. The current hardware includes Xerox Nuvera 288 printers, Bell and Howell Forerunner inserters, and Hewlett Packard ProLiant servers across different generations, supported by Bell and Howell's software suite. In addition to new equipment and software options, the CRA requires maintenance and support services, including on-site support personnel and provision of consumables like toner and various replacement kits. Responses to this Request for Information (RFI) are purely for the CRA to gather insights and are not a solicitation for bids, nor do they guarantee any contractual commitment. Vendors interested in subsequent formal solicitations must monitor the CanadaBuys platform for official postings. The deadline for submitting responses is April 21, 2026, by 14:00 EDT, and all submissions must be made in writing via email to the designated contracting authority, David Denis, with contact details included. The CRA emphasizes that no work or expenditures should be initiated based on this RFI, and it is designed to help inform a future procurement process.
