The contract involves a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the state of Utah concerning office furniture under the NASPO cooperative agreement. The purpose of this RFI is to gather input, suggestions, and information from potential vendors to aid the state in determining the best approach for a future procurement process, which may involve either an invitation for bids or a request for proposals. This step is intended to generate vendor interest and facilitate decision-making before the issuance of a formal solicitation. Vendors are instructed to refrain from direct contact with the state outside of responding to the RFI or submitting questions during the designated question and answer period, emphasizing that this is not a procurement or contract award process. Responses to this RFI do not constitute offers, nor will they bind the state to form any contractual agreement. The procurement process must adhere to established procedures or legal exceptions as described in the relevant procurement regulations. The RFI encourages participation to ensure comprehensive market research while maintaining the confidentiality of information submitted under applicable Utah government protections. The solicitation was posted on May 28, 2026, with a response deadline of June 11, 2026, and all communications are to be directed to the listed primary contact, Dylan Latimer. The solicitation details and submission instructions are accessible through the specified Utah procurement platform.
