The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic is seeking information on unmanned, cellular IP-based portable surveillance kits designed for law enforcement to perform covert or overt video surveillance. These kits should at minimum include a camera, system software or control module, power source/connector, and camera mount. The information gathered will support the Department of Homeland Security's System Assessment and Validation for Emergency Responders (SAVER) Program, which aims to objectively assess and validate commercial equipment for emergency responders. Vendors are asked to provide company details, product line information including base and premium kits with MSRP and included components, and a point of contact, while avoiding submission of proprietary data since all information received will be publicly accessible and may be published in SAVER documentation. This request for information is for planning purposes only, not a solicitation or contract offer, and no payment will be made for submissions. Responses must follow the attached Portable Surveillance Kits_RFI form and be submitted through SSC Atlantic’s e-commerce website or via contact with the technical point of contact if downloading issues arise. Evaluation of the information for possible inclusion in future SAVER projects will consider responder feedback and focus group inputs. Further vendor engagement and requests for detailed product information may occur post-submission, but vendors should not expect follow-up through the posting agency. Contract-related inquiries should be directed to the designated Contract Specialist via email.
