NOTICE OF AMENDMENT (2021-11-03) AND EXTENSION OF SOLICITATION CLOSING DATE 1. Please note that the postal code in the “Destination of Goods/Services” (Cover Page) and “4. Delivery Location” (subsection 6.18 Hardware, p. 20) has been amended from “N6A 4K3” to “N6A 5R2”;2. The Solicitation Closing Date and Time has been extended from November 4, 2021, 14:00 EDT to November 5, 2021, 14:00 EDT; and3. As a result of the above amendments, a new "RFQ-R000099459.A(Amendment 2)” document has been published.NOTICE OF AMENDMENT AND QUESTIONS/ANSWERS 1. Please note that the title in the French version of the solicitation, “Demande de prix pour 18 CT disques durs”, has been amended to “Demande de prix pour des disques durs de 18 To”.An amended French version of the Solication has been added; and2. “Answer – Part 1 – Répondre – Partie 1” has been added.NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT The Royal Canadian Mounted Police, 130 Dufferin Avenue, London, Ontario, Canada requires 18 TB Hard Drives as outlined in the attached Request for Quotations. A bid must comply with all requirements of the bid solicitation to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract. The Bidder must submit pricing in accordance with Annex A – List of Deliverables and Pricing. Please refer to the Request for Quotations document for the complete details regarding this requirement including the mandatory criteria, evaluation criteria and basis of selection. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, suppliers are required to submit bids electronically using the Contracting Authority’s email or through the Procure to Pay (P2P) portal. Faxed and hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted, except in exceptional circumstances, for the subject bid solicitation. The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
