Full Description
The United States Government (USG) requests for contractor services to refurbish, improve the original conditions of the kitchens and bathrooms (cabinets, fixtures, drywalls, floor and wall tiles, sinks, counter tops, lamps, outlets, exhausts) at a U.S. Embassy Mexico City owned housing compound, known as Musset. This project is being solicited on behalf of the Embassy, in conjunction with the Department of State Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO).
The United States Government (USG) requires a professional contractor with general services to “Repair by replacement of one (1) kitchen and two (2) full bathrooms in each of five (5) units, for a total of five (5) kitchens and ten (10) bathrooms.
The selected contractor will be fully responsible for performing all the necessary work including, but not limited to temporary partitions to isolate the renovation areas; removal of the existing kitchen and bathrooms cabinetry in six units of the same compound; replacement of drywall sheets, electrical, plumbing, masonry and finishing work; special disconnections of fixtures, appliances, and accessories are required to facilitate improvement. The refurbishment shall use only high-quality, first-class materials (all properly evaluated and approved by the project's Contracting Officer Representative (COR)).
As per FAR 36.204, it is anticipated that the range in price of this contract will be: Between $100,000 and $250,000 U.S. dollars.
The Contractor shall furnish all managerial, administrative, direct labor personnel, raw materials, and transportation as well as adhere to all safety requirements per local law that are necessary to accomplish all required services.
The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussions. The resultant contract will be a single award firm-fixed price contract for Musset Kitchen & Bathroom Restoration Services.
The Government is planning a Site Visit and Pre-Proposal Conference. The process to confirm date, time and location will be stated in the solicitation.
The contractor must have the personnel, technical and financial resources to execute the work in up to three (3) units simultaneously. The entire contract shall be completed within 10 weeks.
