The work required will primarily consist of containing, removing, storing, and disposing of the above materials/wastes. It should be noted that some hazardous materials will need long term storage at an appropriately permitted facility while Ohio EPA investigates to determine the responsible party. EMERGENCY RESPONSE (ER) TO HAZARDOUS MATERIALS INCIDENTS (category two): DAS on behalf of EPA is seeking to establish a statewide contract with one contractor for Emergency Response (ER) for Response Services to Emergency Releases to Abate and Remove Hazardous Materials. This Contract will be used to assist the OER OSCs in conducting environmental cleanups of sites where the suspected spiller is unknown, incapable, or recalcitrant. This assistance primarily will consist of containing, removing, and disposing of oil, hazardous materials from spill sites.Offerors may bid on category one, category two or both categories. Separate Proposals must be submitted for each category Offeror is bidding on.
