The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic is seeking information on commercially available, man-portable mobile command systems tailored for small and rural community emergency responders. These systems should support one- to two-person transport, provide interoperable voice, data, and networking communications, and integrate software aligned with National Incident Management System principles, including standardized reporting, resource management, and geospatial information. The request targets equipment listed under the Department of Homeland Security Authorized Equipment List, specifically mobile radio gear deployable in vehicles or as temporary stations, and computer hardware/software necessary for integrated communication and data processing systems. The goal is to gather data as part of the DHS System Assessment and Validation for Emergency Responders Program, to assess and compare equipment for potential use by emergency response units handling on-scene incident communication and decision-making. Interested vendors are asked to complete a detailed questionnaire available through the SPAWAR e-commerce website, providing company details, product descriptions, cost information including GSA schedule data, and contact points for follow-up. Information submitted will be made publicly available through the SAVER Program, so proprietary details should be excluded. This solicitation is solely for information gathering, with no contract award or payment implied. Vendors may be contacted for further details based on their submissions, which will be evaluated alongside emergency responder input if a SAVER project on this equipment proceeds. Non-technical inquiries are directed to the designated contract specialist via email.
