The Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWAR) Atlantic has issued a Request for Information (RFI) seeking input on the development of a single wideband multi-carrier amplifier technology capable of supporting both UHF and VHF frequencies. The desired amplifier should accommodate at least 36 carriers with high power variability and include measures to mitigate intermodulation interference, supporting advanced communication system applications. The amplifier is expected to deliver at least 30 dBW power output while handling frequency hopping without significant interference. The Government is specifically interested in technologies at or above Technology Readiness Level 5 and is not soliciting proposals or committing to future contracts at this stage. Interested parties are asked to submit white papers limited to five pages addressing technical concepts, including architectural design, potential applications, and prototyping approaches. Administrative details like business type, point of contact, and facility security clearance are to be included separately without counting toward the page limit. Submissions must be unclassified, made in Microsoft Word or PDF format, and sent via email within 30 days of the RFI posting date. This RFI does not guarantee a procurement opportunity and is intended for information gathering and planning; no costs will be reimbursed. SPAWAR representatives may engage in discussions for clarification but will not accept unsolicited proposals, and all submitted materials become Government property.
