1. Respondent Qualifications. The Responder must have significant knowledge, expertise and experience in providing general and specified insurance services and provide an assessment of services and products best suited to the operation of Region 1 and the Land Bank operations.
2. Specific Requirements. The following areas are required to meet the operational and commercial needs of Region 1 Planning Council and the Northern Illinois Land Bank Authority: i) Commercial Auto Insurance ii) Business Owners Coverage iii) General Liability Insurance iv) Workers’ Compensation
The selected provider will be responsible for the following list of services: • Assess and evaluate current insurance coverage portfolio and make recommendations for improvements, cost savings and any necessary limit and/or coverage changes. • Provide comprehensive proposals for various types of insurance coverage, including different levels of coverage, coverage limits and premium options. • Provide risk management and assessment provide mitigation strategies to reduce risk exposure across the organization’s operations. • Describe the claims processing and handling procedure, including response times, reporting procedures and customer support options. • Offer dedicated account management and ongoing customer service support, including support with renewal procedures, claims and necessary adjustments.
