RFP #27007 On-Site Security Services Task Order Contract

The Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County is soliciting competitive proposals under RFP 27007 to establish a Master Task Order Contract for both armed and unarmed on-site security services. The contract aims to secure one or multiple qualified vendors to provide security for various government-owned locations, including physical buildings, campuses, parks, public transit properties, and special event spaces. Scope of work includes operating x-ray screening and magnetometers, managing CCTV and fire/life safety systems, and conducting interior and exterior patrols. The initial contract period runs from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027, with the option to extend for up to four additional one-year terms. Selected contractors must comply with Georgia security and immigration laws, maintain professional licensure under O.C.G.A. 43-38-7, and adhere to strict confidentiality and non-discrimination policies. Payments are processed monthly upon receipt of approved invoices and certificates of service.
