RFP# 72 Professional Photography and Videography Services Needed

The Southwest Regional Recreation Authority, operating as Spearhead Trails, is seeking proposals for a one-time engagement to develop a high-quality, tourism-focused library of photography and video assets for six trail systems in Southwest Virginia. This initiative, supported by the Virginia Tourism Corporation Marketing Leverage Program, aims to increase awareness and overnight visitation through authentic, experience-driven content. The selected contractor will provide a minimum of three hours of 4K resolution video footage, including aerial and ground-based shots, and high-resolution photography. A primary requirement is the capture of content specifically composed for vertical 9:16 social media use. All drone operations must be conducted by a professional holding a current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate. The maximum contract value is 9,000 dollars, which must include all costs for travel, lodging, and the provision of a new external SSD for final delivery. The project schedule begins with a discovery meeting between September 21 and 25, 2026, followed by primary production in October, with a target final delivery date of November 30, 2026. Payment will be issued in two installments: 50 percent upon completion of on-location production and the remaining 50 percent upon final acceptance of the assets by the authority.
