NSA Bethesda experienced a consequential failure of the steam and chilled water generation plant in January 2020. The building envelope and assets require repair and modernization work to bring the facility and component condition index out of the poor/red rating. This requirement impacts CNIC-16, CNIC-16PPST, and CNIC-16PPCW as well as assets UMA242000045, UMA242000046, UMA242000048, UMA242000049, UMA242000050, UMA242000393, UMA242000394, UMA242000395, UMA242000396, UMA242000397, UMA242000053, UMA242000054, UMA242000055, UMA242000056, UMA242000057, UMA242000089, UMA242000090, UMA242000207, UMA242000208, UMA242000209, UMA242000210, UMA242000393, UMA242000394, UMA242000395, UMA242000396, and UMA242000397. Building 16 requires an exterior reskin, interior reconfiguration, and interior refinish. Please see attachment for detailed requirement description.; Status Note (as of 08-FEB-23): Please add actual monthly OPS and status notes, enter dates for the two schedule items (Primary Project Execution = date we expect to award study, probably <2 months from today, and P&S Delivered = date we expect study to be complete). Also work on the SAES and IGE as both are needed to solicit. This is a very high priority for CNIC and the PWO and has a tight timeline.; Status Note (as of 16-FEB-23): Big 3 items are stack replacement, electrical renovation, and revamp salt system, and would account for about 42% of the total. Have solid support for doing the electrical work. A breakdown of the other items: Doesn't make any sense (wet-dry cooling) 8% Done or already separately planned 2% oil pumps, deaerators, air intake, exhaust Probably already done 1% chillers/exchangers Poorly supported, poor definition, or apparently not well thought out ... NOTE: description has been truncated, please see Project Note for full description.
