RFP26-20LG Employee & Family Assistance Program

The Vancouver School Board is inviting qualified providers to deliver a comprehensive Employee and Family Assistance Program that extends far beyond basic counselling referrals, emphasizing trauma-informed, identity-affirming care delivered through multiple accessible channels. The selected provider must offer timely, responsive support tailored to the diverse needs of staff and their families across all school sites, while actively partnering with VSB leadership to cultivate a workplace culture centered on psychological safety and overall well-being. Continuity of care is a critical requirement, with the provider expected to ensure seamless transitions to longer-term services when needed, eliminating any disruption to individuals receiving support. The program must reflect a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by educational staff and their families, integrating culturally competent practices and maintaining consistent, high-quality delivery regardless of delivery method. Proposals must detail how the provider will coordinate care across services, track outcomes, and adapt to evolving needs within the school district. Submissions are due by June 16, 2026, and should be directed to the Contracting Authority at procurement@vsb.bc.ca, with the opportunity open to organizations capable of meeting the stringent standards of quality, responsiveness, and cultural competence required by the school board.
