RFQ 2026 Sidewalks Repair

The Municipality of Lakeshore is seeking quotations from qualified licensed contractors for the 2026 Sidewalks Repair project, solicitation number RFQ-PW-26-010. The scope of work involves providing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, traffic control, and supervision to repair or replace sidewalk panels and approaches at various municipal locations. The project is divided into two technical specifications: Table 1 repairs require a 100 mm thickness with a 1.2 m width, while Table 2 repairs require a 150 mm thickness with a 1.5 m width. All work must include a 150 mm compacted granular base and comply with the Accessibility for Ontarians Disability Act (AODA) through the installation of detectable warning plates at all approaches. Payment terms are net 30 days following the acceptance of deliverables, based on actual field measurements, and a 10% holdback will be retained until all restoration deficiencies are addressed. Prior to contract execution, contractors must provide proof of insurance and appoint a competent representative to manage public safety and nuisance complaints.
