This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only solicitation.
The quotes shall refer to the solicitation number W911RZ-26-Q-A016. This solicitation document incorporated provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation FAC # 2026-01, dated 03/13/2026 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Change # DFARS Change 01/01/2026.
The Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Carson intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract to a total small business set-aside for the acquisition of the RNEC ABSOLYTE VRLA BATTERY CELLS BLDG. 1014 at Fort Carson, Colorado. Description of Requirements
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to Furnish and Labor to install 24 new Absolyte Value Regulated leadacid (VRLA) battery cells, Model Number: 100A29 GNB Absolyte VRLA battery cells, modular steel tray housings, Positive +/Negative – terminate plate, Frame Retardant Transparent Module Cover (plexiglass) with standoff, and Alarm Control Unit Card Frame for CN-1 Building 1014 aboard Fort Carson. This also requires the removal of the old battery cell IAW the PWS. The new battery cells shall be the same brands and equal in amp-hours and not refurbished or renewed. The contractor shall reconnect existing Alarm/control cable hardness on each battery cell and reinstall Ni-Cad Neutra Mat as defined in this PWS.
