Roadway vegetation maintenance services are being solicited for the Whitman Ranger District within the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest in Baker City, Oregon, under solicitation number 1240BE26Q0046, with a total scope covering an estimated 55.8 miles of roadway and an additional 44.4 optional miles. The work involves maintaining vegetation along forest roads to meet strict standards, including maintaining a 14-foot overhead clearance, controlling vegetation within five feet of culvert inlets, and ensuring all plant material is cut to a maximum diameter of nine inches measured six inches above ground.
