Saskatoon Light & Power Asset Management Software

The City of Saskatoon has issued Request for Information RFI 26-0460 to conduct market research for an asset management software solution for Saskatoon Light and Power electrical infrastructure. The primary goal is to replace current manual and multi-source reporting processes with a system capable of providing advanced analytics, asset inventory counts from ArcGIS models, and current replacement values. Key desired capabilities include dashboard views for reporting aggregate asset health scores based on age, condition, and subject matter expert input, as well as support for lifecycle costing, risk forecasting, and investment planning. The software must be compatible with Windows 11 and integrate with the city's existing SAP S/4HANA version 2023 environment used for work order management. This process is strictly for information gathering and preliminary budget pricing and does not constitute a formal bidding process or a commitment to procure services. The City is seeking high-level budgetary estimates covering initial capital costs, software licensing, maintenance, and cloud hosting. Responses must be submitted electronically via the saskatoon.bidsandtenders.ca portal by October 1, 2026. While this RFI is intended to inform a potential Request for Proposals tentatively planned for 2027, it will not necessarily result in a direct contract award or subsequent negotiations.
