Units lack the ability to map and categorize dense urban and subterranean environments. This RFI is for an additional capability to the existing Pacbot 510 robotic platform by mounting a LIDAR system. This configuration will provide maneuver forces real time 2-D and 3-D images of tunnels and rooms. This technology will improve the decision making process when used in concert with the Pacbot 510 (CBRNE), 110 First Looks (retrans). This suite of system will help the maneuver commander to better understand the environment before committing solders to operate in confided and or subterranean environments.
