The Board of Supervisors of Yazoo County, Mississippi, is soliciting sealed bids for Local System Bridge Program Project No. LSBP-82(24). The project involves the construction of 0.155 miles of bridge and approaches on Pritchard Avenue. The scope of work includes comprehensive roadway and bridge items such as mobilization, clearing and grubbing, removal of existing structures, unclassified and structure excavation, installation of 48 inch reinforced concrete pipe, and the placement of prestressed concrete piling and beams. Additional requirements include hot mix asphalt paving, thermoplastic striping, and erosion control measures like hydroseeding and silt fences. All work must be performed in accordance with the latest edition of the Mississippi Standard Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge Construction, with a total contract time of 105 working days. Bids must be submitted to the Yazoo County Administrative Building in Yazoo City by 10:00 AM on November 6, 2026. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for five percent of the total bid, payable to Yazoo County and the State of Mississippi. The contract will be awarded to the lowest qualified bidder based on published quantities.
