SECO Energy is looking for a catering partner for their emergency storm catering needs. The catering partner is an integral part of the emergency storm restoration process. The catering team will work onsite providing three meals a day to SECO Energy employees and local and out-of-state contractors, who are working extended days to restore power quickly and safely to our members in our large Central Florida service territory of over 200,000 accounts. SECO Energy will provide hotel accommodations for all assigned onsite catering employees. A typical day for the catering partner will include: providing a fulfilling hot breakfast each morning to office staff and field workers so they may start off their long days with proper nutrition and energy; preparing and supplying boxed lunches at the time of breakfast for all personnel since field crews work and move throughout the entire day; preparing and serving a hearty and plentiful hot dinner to help renew our hardworking staff and hold them over for the next day. ****THIS CONTRACT IS NON-NEGOTIABLE, REDLINES HAVE BEEN COMPLETED WITH PREVIOUS BIDDERS.*****If a Catering Contract is already in place, there is no need to resubmit unless there is a price change.***** Bid Instructions****All questions and proposals must be submitted in VendorLink. Pre-Qualification for Upcoming Overhead Construction Bids - WA
Solicitation # 2026-88
Solicitation 2026-88 is a Request for Qualifications issued by SECO Energy to establish a pool of prequalified contractors for future Overhead Feeder Construction and New Feeder Install projects. This is a mandatory requalification process; any firm previously qualified with SECO Energy must resubmit their qualifications to be eligible for upcoming Requests for Proposals expected in October 2026. The general scope of work includes directional boring, underground excavation, installation of 4-inch conduit systems and duct banks, placement of 1000 MCM 25 kV EPR aluminum primary cable, and the installation of underground switchgear, splice boxes, and grounding systems, as well as right-of-way clearing and site restoration. To be deemed qualified, vendors must complete a comprehensive questionnaire covering company information, technical capabilities, and references from electric cooperatives or public utilities. Key requirements include the ability to provide a 10 percent bid bond and a 100 percent performance bond, as well as the submission of three years of safety records, including EMR ratings and OSHA 30A summaries. While projects will utilize Rural Utility Service funding and may require Davis-Bacon Act compliance, a lack of prior RUS experience is not an automatic disqualifier. Evaluation is based on the firm's risk management profile, including sam.gov registration and Dun and Bradstreet PAYDEX scores, and their demonstrated ability to perform similar utility construction activities.
