Security Guard Services for CSEA Oahu Branch

The Department of Attorney General is soliciting security guard services for the Oahu Branch of the Hawaii Child Support Enforcement Agency located in Kapolei. The contract covers a twelve month period with an estimated workload of 1,600 hours. Security personnel are required weekdays from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with specific duties including opening reception doors at 8:45 AM, denying office access starting at 3:00 PM, performing security walks at least once per hour, and maintaining a standing position near the reception counter. Additional responsibilities include sanitizing common areas and maintaining daily time sheets. Eligible bidders must have a valid guard service license registered with the Hawaii State Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, a minimum of two consecutive years of experience in the security guard business, and a permanent office in the State of Hawaii. Mandatory requirements include registration with Hawaii Compliance Express and HlePRO, as well as providing federal and state criminal clearance checks dated within 30 days of submission. Contractors must comply with Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 103-55 regarding wages and maintain various insurances, including workers compensation and unemployment insurance.
