The United States Department of the Naval Medical Research Command (NMRC) intends to award a sole source contract to, Thermo Fisher Scientific, LLC, Asheville, NC.  This notice is not a request for competitive proposals however If interested Government shall consider all responses.

NMRC's Combat Wound Infections Division (CWID) of the Military Relevant Bacterial Diseases Department has a need to provide  a service agreement for two (2) ultra-low temperature freezers, two (2) laboratory freezers and one (1) refrigerator.  Specifically, an annual service agreement which includes one preventive maintenance visit, unlimited access to OEM-trained technical support, unlimited engineer labor, travel and factory-certified replacement parts, instrument software updates and a loaner instrument if needed/available, is needed and will be serviced onsite by qualified technicians with genuine parts.


The NAICS code for this action is 339112. This requirement will be procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12 Commercial Items. NMRC requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Systems for Award Management (SAM).
