1.1 Scope: The City of Columbus, Department of Public Service is receiving bids until May 5, 2026, at 1:00 PM local time, for construction services for the Signals - N. 4th Street Ph 1 project. Bids are to be submitted only at www.bidexpress.com. Hard copies shall not be accepted.
This project involves replacing and upgrading the signals along N. 4th Street at five intersections: N. 4th Street with E. 1st Avenue, E. 2nd Avenue, E. 5th Avenue, E. 7th Avenue, and E. 17th Avenue This includes new signal poles, controllers, wiring, radar detection, poles, incidental lighting, power distribution, storm sewer, water, and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract, as set forth in this Invitation For Bid (IFB).
All questions concerning this project are to be sent to contact@example.gov. The last day to submit questions will be specified in the IFB; phone calls will not be accepted. Responses will be posted on Bid Express at www.bidexpress.com as an addendum.
A pre-bid meeting will not be held.
