Snow Plowing - Tagwi Regional Group

The Upper Canada District School Board is soliciting quotations for snow plowing and salt/sanding services for the Tagwi Regional Group for the 2026-2027 winter season. The contract covers multiple sites, specifically Avonmore Elementary School, Maxville Public School, and Tagwi Secondary School. While the Board prefers to award the entire regional grouping to a single provider, it reserves the right to award individual schools if necessary. The initial contract term is for one year, with the option for the Board to extend the agreement for up to four additional one-year periods at negotiated rates. Any proposed rate increases for extensions must be justified and aligned with the Consumer Price Index. Successful contractors must provide a valid WSIB clearance certificate and liability insurance, ensure all equipment meets Occupational Health and Safety Act and Ministry of Transportation standards, and comply with specific safety protocols regarding student areas and chemical handling. Payments are processed via Electronic Funds Transfer.
