Full Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) awarded a contract to procure a software upgrade to the Communications/Navigation Radio Frequency Avionics Flightline Tester (CRAFT) AN/USM-708 and AN/USM-719 Radio Test Sets P/N's: 90000108 and 90000121 and a software upgrade to the utility designed to calibrate the test sets on a sole source basis with Tel Instruments Electronics, Inc. of East Rutherford, NJ. The contract is a Firm Fixed Price type contract. The contractor shall deliver the software within six (6) months after contract award. The Government does not possess sufficient rights to the proprietary data and software source code for the Radio Test Sets. As the Original Engineering Manufacturer (OEM), Tel Instruments Electronics, Inc. is the only known source with the knowledge and capability to produce the AN/USM-708 and AN/USM-719 software.
