Solar Services - Eagleville Campus

The County of Montgomery (County) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide recommendations for the location and installation of solar arrays. The County has identified possible ground and roof locations, however there are also several additional ground and rooftop locations that may be suitable.
The County has an existing federally funded agreement with a professional engineering consultant to perform certain feasibility, site investigation, and design-support services relating to the proposed solar project. Approximately $160,000 in grant funding is currently anticipated to remain available, subject to the terms of the grant and the existing consultant agreement. The selected proposer will be required to coordinate in good faith with the County and its existing consultant regarding services that fall within the consultant’s authorized contractual scope. The County will retain responsibility for directing and compensating its consultant. Proposers shall identify the assumptions used in accounting for the consultant’s anticipated services and shall separately describe any corresponding reduction in proposed development costs or Power Purchase Agreement rates. Nothing in this solicitation guarantees that the entire remaining grant balance will be expended or relieves the selected proposer of responsibility for the performance of its obligations under the resulting agreement.
In this Request for Proposals, the County is seeking proposals to negotiate and award a contract Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) using the Respondent's preferred FEOC-compliant equipment.
