This advertisement does not constitute a request for bids or proposals; instead, it serves as a legal notice under Sections 120.57(3) and 287.057(3), Florida Statutes, to afford other vendors the opportunity to demonstrate competitive capability. If no viable alternatives are identified, the department will formally post its intent to award the contract to Sonitrol of Tallahassee, Inc., on the Vendor Information Portal, completing the statutory process for single-source procurement.
