PURPOSE:


The Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service (AAIHS), Santa Fe Indian Health Center (SFIHC), and Satellite Clinics have a requirement for annual software maintenance, licensing, and technical support for D3-MMP patient identification system used with thermal label and wristband printers.


Description of Services:


The Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service (AAIHS) requires a contractor to provide annual software maintenance, licensing, technical support, and training for the existing D3-MMP patient identification system utilized at the Santa Fe Indian Health Center, San Felipe Health Clinic, Santa Clara Health Clinic, and Cochiti Health Clinic.


The requirement consists of a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. Services shall support the existing D3-MMP system used with GX430t thermal transfer printers, thermal wristband printers, and label printers located throughout the clinics. The printers are used to produce patient chart labels, specimen vial labels, and patient wristbands.


The contractor shall provide:


  • Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting support via VPN access;
  • Operating system security patches;
  • Software updates and annual licensing;
  • Hardware repair/replacement (RMAs) as required;
  • Customer support for product ordering and coordination; and
  • Initial operator training for new technology installations and annual refresher training, as needed.

This is a sources sought notice under the authority of the Buy Indian Act. The Indian Health Service (IHS) is attempting to locate qualified and eligible Small Business Indian Firms, “Native American Indian Owned and Operated businesses,” that can provide services/supplies to the Indian Health Service.  This is a request for information only, this is not a solicitation.  Responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.  Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary with no obligation or incurred cost by the government.
