AI Contract Overview
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at Patuxent River, MD, seeks to award a new order under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement to provide comprehensive Integrated Logistics and Engineering Support for the AN/ALQ-165 Airborne Self Protection Jammer (ASPJ) System, specifically in support of Foreign Military Sales customers. This support covers a full range of sustainment activities to maintain the operational readiness of currently fielded ASPJ systems and those that may be introduced in the future with FMS partners. The contract will include a base year plus one option year and is intended to cover requirements from Fiscal Year 2026 through Fiscal Year 2028. The acquisition will be conducted on a sole source basis with Complete Logistics Support, Inc., who is the only known entity possessing the authorized technical data and program management infrastructure necessary for this international sustainment effort. This approach aligns with the statutory authority that allows for non-competitive acquisition when only one responsible source can fulfill the agency’s requirements. Interested parties must submit any responses or evidence showing that competition could be advantageous by June 5, 2026, but no contract will be awarded based on submissions to this notice, which is not a solicitation or request for proposals. The primary point of contact for this acquisition is Contract Specialist Craig Hayden.
