This Sources Sought is "REQUEST FOR INFORMATION" only for the proposed contract work listed in the requirements section below. This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. Final plans and specifications are not available at this time. Responses to this Sources Sought must be received by email no later than the date specified in the response section. The intent of this sources sought is for market research to determine contractors with the necessary experience and resources capable of performing this work. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine whether your company has the capability and experience to compete for this acquisition. Responses to this notice shall include the following:

Project Location and Type of Work:


The project is located in Glacier National Park approximately Four (4) miles West of Babb City, Glacier County in Montana.


The proposed contract action is for a firm-fixed-priced construction contract. This project consists of reconstruction of approximately 2.65-miles of Many Glacier Road with drainage improvements; roadway reconstruction; aggregate base; and asphalt surfacing. The work also includes landslide mitigation at five locations that includes the installation of horizontal drains, rock revetments, rock buttresses, and sub-excavation.

This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach.
