AI Contract Overview
The Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service is conducting market research to determine whether hospital laundry and linen delivery and pickup services can be fulfilled through an Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) set-aside or a total small business set-aside, in alignment with the Buy Indian Act and federal acquisition regulations. Although the notice lists NAICS code 238110 for poured concrete foundation work, the actual requirement is for linen services at the Mescalero Service Unit to ensure clean linens are available for patient care and compliance with infection control standards. Respondents must confirm their business size classifications, including whether they qualify as an Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise, and submit a completed IHS IEE Representation Form indicating eligibility. All submissions must include the company’s Unique Entity Identifier, proof of SAM registration, a capability statement or past performance documentation, and must be sent to Tamela Richards by the deadline of Thursday, July 9th, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. MDT. No reimbursement will be provided for response costs, and submissions missing required elements will be deemed non-responsive. This effort is not a solicitation but a preliminary step to assess vendor capabilities and eligibility for potential future set-asides under the Buy Indian Act and related Indian preference authorities.
