NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE


The Indian Health Service (IHS), Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC), Phoenix, Arizona, intends to award a sole source contract to Getinge USA Sales for Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Repair Services for Government-owned Getinge sterilization and related equipment.


The contractor shall provide preventive maintenance inspections, corrective repairs, technical support, proprietary software access, and replacement parts for Getinge sterilizers, washer/disinfectors, ultrasonic cleaners, reverse osmosis systems, water savers, and electric boilers located at PIMC.


The anticipated period of performance includes a one-year base period from June 12, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with four one-year option periods.


Getinge USA Sales is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and is the only source capable of providing the required services due to its exclusive access to proprietary software, diagnostic tools, replacement parts, and OEM-certified technicians necessary to maintain and repair the equipment.


This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. However, any responsible source that believes it can meet the Government's requirement may submit a capability statement demonstrating its ability to provide OEM-authorized services for the identified equipment. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
