The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Charleston is organizing an Industry Day event on March 15, 2005, to discuss the planned expansion of the existing NAVSEA SeaPort-Enhanced (Seaport-e) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) N00178-05-R-4000. This expansion aims to include additional ordering offices from SPAWAR, NAVSUP, and NAVAIR, thereby broadening the scope of the contract. Seaport-e currently provides a wide range of engineering, technical, and programmatic support services to the Navy. The Industry Day will be held at the Naval Weapons Station, Building 3112 (Conference Center), from 8:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., where NAVSEA will present detailed information about Seaport-e and the “rolling admissions” process for the contract. Interested firms are requested to notify Mr. Greg Becker with a copy to Mrs. Linda Lunn of their intent to participate by March 9, 2005, including the names of up to three attendees per firm and whether they require assistance with base access passes or badges. This notification deadline ensures sufficient time to facilitate base access arrangements. Additional specifics regarding the agenda and base entry procedures will be communicated directly to those registered. Questions about the event can be directed to Mr. Becker, and further information on Seaport-e and the rolling admission process is available on the official Navy Seaport website. The event is coordinated by the Department of Defense’s Niwc Atlantic office in North Charleston, SC.
