The Virginia Department of Emergency Management (VDEM) is seeking electronic bids exclusively through the eVA system for a project titled "StarLink Mini Mounting Project." The contract involves procuring magnetic StarLink Mini Mounts for service vehicles, including necessary mounting accessories. The mounts should either be the Striker brand or a reasonable equivalent, with a strict requirement that the base and handle must be powder coated white to match the fleet’s color. Submissions that do not meet this powder coating specification will be rejected as non-compliant. The StarLink system module itself is not needed—only the mounting hardware. All proposals must be submitted electronically through the eVA platform by June 26, 2026, at 6:00 PM. Faxed, emailed, or mailed proposals will not be accepted under any circumstances. For reference, specifications and images are provided, and the Striker fabrication group has agreed to special order the required components with the white powder coating, though alternatives meeting the same color and quality standard will also be considered. The contracting office is located in North Chesterfield, Virginia, and Laura Ashburn is the point of contact for this solicitation.
