SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF STREET FLUSHER WATER TRUCK

The Region of Peel is soliciting bids for the supply and delivery of one street flusher water truck under solicitation number 2026-319T. Electronic submissions are due by 12:00 noon local time on September 21, 2026. The successful vendor must be registered under the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act and provide a unit that complies with the Highway Traffic Act, Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Regulation, NFPA 1901, CAN/ULC-S515-13, and Occupational Health and Safety Standards. The vehicle must be delivered FOB Destination to the Wolfedale Yard in Mississauga, Ontario, with a maximum lead time of nine months from the receipt of the purchase order. Technical requirements include a one-year warranty against defects, rust control using Krown or an approved equivalent, and freeze protection for coolant down to -35 degrees Celsius, including the ability to pump propylene glycol through the water system. The unit must be fully licensed until June 2027 and delivered with four keys and an annual safety certificate. The Agency reserves the right to conduct inspections, demonstrations, and conformance testing at the vendor's expense prior to final acceptance. Payment will be made via Electronic Funds Transfer in Canadian funds, excluding HST. The contract is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and requires the vendor to maintain WSIB coverage.
