DM27-016P Supply of Plumbing and Heating Products at Various TDSB Locations.The Toronto District School Board intends to secure contracts with a qualified Bidder(s) for the Supply of Plumbing & Heating Products for TDSB Trades. The contract shall commence on December 1, 2026 to November 31, 2029 with the option to extend for three (3) additional twelve (12) month periods ending August 31, 2032. The successful Proponent(s) will require Board approval prior to contract award. The terms and conditions of the extension options would remain the same as the initial contract period. The supply of Plumbing and Heating for the TDSB shall be in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined below.The desired supplier will have distribution location/s in the geographic areas covered by the learning centres 1 , 2, 3, 4. The boundaries for the East would be Port Union Road to Bathurst Street and Lakeshore Blvd. to Steeles Avenue and the boundaries for the West would be Hwy 427 to Bayview Avenue from Lakeshore Blvd to Steeles Avenue. Please refer to our Learning Centre Maps of boundaries provided on the RFP.Evaluation is based on the following criteria (out of 100 points):Price 90 pointsBOA (Buy Ontario Act) 10 points **NEW INFORMATION TO BIDDERS**The Province of Ontario enacted the Buy Ontario Act “BOA” (Public Sector Procurement), 2025, and the associated Buy Ontario Procurement Directive, effective April 13, 2026, to strengthen Ontario’s economy by prioritizing Ontario and Canadian goods, services, businesses, and supply chains in public sector procurement. The Directive applies to Ontario government entities and designated Broader Public Sector (BPS) organizations, including school boards, and requires greater consideration of Ontario and Canadian sourcing in procurement activities.**INSTRUCTIONS**As a result of the Directive, bidders responding to this procurement are required to submit the following mandatory Buy Ontario documents with their bid submission:Buy Ontario Questionnaire (BOA) – Provides information regarding the bidder's business location, Ontario and Canadian content, supply chain participants, and the origin of goods and services proposed for the project.Domestic Supply Chain Plan – Identifies the sources of major goods and services, key suppliers and subcontractors, and outlines how Ontario and Canadian goods and services will be maximized throughout the project.Failure to submit these documents with the bid will result in the bid being deemed non-compliant and will not be evaluated any further.Evaluation and AwardThis RFP, shall be awarded based on evaluation of the criteria set out. THE INTENT OF THE TDSB IS TO AWARD TO MORE THAN ONE VENDOR AT SOLE DISCRETION OF TDSB.
