This Special Notice is a follow-up to N0002413SN02A dated 21 November 2012 and N0002413SN30A dated 30 November 2012. THIS SPECIAL NOTICE IS FOR MARKET RESEARCH AND WILL BE USED FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. THERE WILL NOT BE A SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS, OR DRAWINGS AVAILABLE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT MAY OR MAY NOT TRANSLATE INTO AN ACTUAL PROCUREMENT(S) IN FUTURE YEARS. THERE IS NO FUNDING ASSOCIATED WITH THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. Attached hereto is the Industry Day Presentation that was to be given at the International WorkBoat Show as part of the WorkBoat Professional Series at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana on December 6, 2012. Interested Parties may submit questions regarding the information in the presentation through 31 December 2012. Questions and answers may be posted by the Government at a later date. Any information or questions submitted as a result of this notice is strictly voluntary. The Government makes no commitment that every question asked will be answered. All questions answered by the Government will be posted at the websites for FBO and NECO (www.neco.navy.mil), the same sites where this announcement has been posted. NOTICES REGARDING SOLICITATION: The provision of this Industry Day Presentation does NOT constitute a Request for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment, implied or otherwise, by the Government that a procurement action will be issued. No telephone inquiries will be accepted and requests for solicitation packages will not be honored, as no solicitation is intended at this time. Response to this notice is not a request to be added to a bidders list or to receive a copy of a solicitation.
