The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a sole-source software upgrade with Total Immersion Software Incorporated for software developer services. The services to be performed require extensive knowledge of the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA) project RealWorld Platform. Total Immersion Software Incorporated is the manufacture and sole source provider of RealWorld Platform. The software is distributed through DARPA for usage throughout the intelligent community. The FBI has the software product and is looking to complete a modification. The contract will be for a base year with two additional one-year options as a result of this announcement.
