The Space and Naval System Center Charleston plans to issue a sole source modification under contract N65236-03-D-6831 to Imagine One Technology and Management, LTD., located in Colonial Beach, Virginia, for technical and program support services. This action is being taken under FAR 6.302-1 because Imagine One is the only known source capable of meeting the agency’s requirements through March 31, 2007. The modification will increase the contract ceiling to cover ongoing support until a competitive follow-on contract (N65236-07-R-0752) is awarded. The work is managed by SPAWAR System Center Charleston, with Don Bickford as the point of contact. This contract is classified under the NAICS code 541330, which applies to engineering services, with a size standard of $25 million. The modification is not a solicitation for new proposals but rather an extension of existing services provided by the incumbent contractor. The contract supports the Department of Defense through the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic, headquartered in North Charleston, South Carolina. The sole source nature ensures continuity of technical and program support while the government prepares for a competitive procurement later in the fiscal year.
