This is a sources sought/market research notice conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, Market Research. AFDW/PKI is seeking information on service-disabled veteran-owned small buisness concerns able to provide telecommunications engineering, design, planning, troubleshooting, infrastucture installation, problem diagnosis and repair of mission critical voice, video, and data network infrastructure to the 844th Communications Group (844 CG) located at Joint Base Andrews - Naval Air Facility Washington (JBA-NAFW). The 844 CG is in the middle of installing network infrastructure to support the William A. Jones III Building. The Jones Building is a $131.5 Million BRAC initiative to consolidate many Air Force organizations currently in leased office space throughout the National Capital Region into one 380,000 square foot facility. Direct experience in the design, planning, and computer network infrastructure of the Jones Building is required. Experience with and a working knowledge of the cable plant at JBA-NAFW is desired. Any delay in telecommunications installation and building certification will result in unacceptable cost overruns, as leases and service contracts associated with the old locations (i.e. security, janitorial) will need to be extended. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541330, Engineering Services, Small Business Size Standard $4.5M. Please provide information on your company's capabilities, in writing, including business size and years of experience to Sheila Miller, Contract Specialist, Email sheila.miller@afncr.af.mil no later than 4:00PM eastern standard time 28 February 2011. Any inquiries regarding the sources sought must be made, in writing, to the email. No phone calls will be accepted.

The primary objective is to secure technical, analytical, and subject matter expertise to run, calibrate, modify, and integrate STORM and its associated data to inform senior Air Force leadership. The scope of work is divided into five service categories: Campaign Analysis Support, STORM Software Engineering Support, Analysis Toolkit Software Engineering Support, User Community Support, and General Support.
