The El Paso County Hospital District (EPCHD) d/b/a University Medical Center of El Paso (UMC) seeks proposals from Temporary Staffing Agencies to provide Temporary Staffing Services for all UMC facilities. Staffing Services will be provided on an as needed basis (no established budget), to include but not limited to the UMC Main Campus, UMC Surgical Hospital, UMC Clinics, Corrections Facilities, El Paso Health Plans, Inc., and all other EPCHD facilities/affiliates. UMC may at times refer pre-selected candidates to the Agency, for temporary staffing assignments. This service is referred to as “Payroll Service” within this document. Staffing requests may include clerical positions such as office clerks, receptionists, secretaries in both clinical and non-clinical departments. The Agency must have the resources necessary to provide staffing in non-clerical positions, which may include, but not limited to, information technology (network specialist, help desk, etc., certified medical assistants, environmental (housekeeping) services workers, food service workers and general maintenance/labor positions.
