ATCM Annual Calibrations

The Department of Defense, through the MCIEAST Cherry Point Satellite Contracting Office, is conducting a Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought to identify qualified vendors capable of providing non-personal services for Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) calibrations. This market research effort precedes a future Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) requirements contract expected to span a 60-month period. The contract anticipates performance at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, with all calibration, diagnostics, and potential repairs to be conducted in accordance with strict standards including ANSI Z540-1-1994, MCO 4733.1, OPNAVINST 3960.16, and ISO/IEC 17025:2005. Vendors must have active SAM.gov registration with NAICS code 541380, and be capable of providing fully accredited laboratory services by an ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement signatory. The contract emphasizes timely completion, requiring calibrated equipment to be returned within 30 days of receipt, and mandates thorough documentation, including calibration certificates and repair notifications. Interested firms, whether large or small businesses—potentially including HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, or Small Disadvantaged Business categories—are requested to submit basic firm information, nature of participation, business size, and a brief qualifications statement limited to five double-sided pages.
