Description: The RFP is an invitation to submit offers for the provision of The Supply and Install of Four (4) Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Systems, as further described herein. The Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Systems will be utilized within the Integrated Rehabilitation Technologies Lab to support clinical and translational research focused on mobility, movement, and functional performance. These systems will enable real-time examination of limb muscles, tendons, and ligaments to support clinical research activities in mobility and movement. The procurement includes one (1) full-featured diagnostic ultrasound system and three (3) portable point-of-care ultrasound systems. The diagnostic ultrasound system is intended for advanced, research-intensive imaging and quantitative analysis within a dedicated clinical or laboratory environment. The portable point-of-care ultrasound systems are intended to support flexible, rapid, and repeated assessments across multiple research and clinical locations. The combination of one fixed diagnostic system and multiple portable systems is required to ensure both high-resolution, data-intensive imaging capabilities and accessible point-of-care ultrasound across diverse settings where movement-based assessments occur. Budget: The estimated budget for this project is CAD $204,566 plus HST.
