Third Pary Partnership - Zancor Phase 2 Outdoor Amenitites

The Township of King has issued Request for Expression of Interest RFEOI-2026-020 to identify potential partners for the development, financing, delivery, and operation of sports field infrastructure and year-round recreation facilities at Zancor Centre – Phase 2. This is a non-binding market-sounding exercise intended to inform future procurement and does not constitute a formal competitive process or a legally binding solicitation. The project scope includes the creation of a lit artificial turf soccer field with an air-supported dome, though the Township is open to innovative proposals such as multi-sport domes, fieldhouses, or hybrid recreation spaces, as well as amenities like playgrounds and splash pads. A mandatory requirement for any potential partnership is the allocation of at least 50 percent of prime-time hours for Township uses or affiliated community organizations, with prime time defined as weekdays from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and weekends from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Interested proponents must submit their expressions of interest electronically to ndang@king.ca by September 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. EST. Submissions must include a completed Proponent Submission Form, a Partnership Interest and Opportunities Form, and a detailed expression of interest based on the provided terms of reference.
