Traffic Control & Maintenance of Traffic (MOT)

This subcontract with the Maryland Department of Transportation focuses on providing traffic management and safety equipment for prime contractors operating on Amtrak right-of-way projects in Anne Arundel. The scope of work involves implementing the Traffic Control Plan, installing Temporary Crash Cushion Sand Filled Plastic Barrels, and maintaining traffic flow through the use of signage and high-visibility safety apparel. To ensure operational safety and compliance, the contractor is required to hold a Traffic Control Plan Certification. The primary objective of the agreement is to deliver a safe, managed traffic flow and the successful installation of safety barriers to protect both workers and the public.
