Montgomery County Dept. of Public Safety Emergency Operations Center Carpeting
Solicitation # 6620
The Montgomery County Department of Public Safety is soliciting a qualified contractor for the removal and installation of carpeting at the Eagleville Emergency Operations Center (EOC) facility. The scope of work includes removing existing carpet from raised floor access panels, hallways, and office areas, and installing Static Smart Discovery Series carpet. Specifically, the project requires approximately 262 square yards of Galileo color carpet in the EOC area, 215 square yards in the hallway and technical services area, and 253 square yards on concrete floors in the media room, QA/QI area, offices, and hallways. Bidders must submit proposals through the Montgomery County Procurement Portal, including a cost proposal, W-9, and various certifications regarding responsible contractor status, organizational conflicts of interest, and business size or diversity. Award decisions are based on the best interest of the County, considering price, experience, and delivery time. The selected contractor must provide performance and payment bonds, comply with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and adhere to federal and state non-discrimination laws. Payment is issued for satisfactorily completed work, with interest applied if payment is not made within 45 days.
