TSPS - 3.11 Communications Consultants

The Communication Consultants (Web Communications Advisors) will provide timely and strategic advice for web content using metrics/analytics, strategic priorities, central agency direction, and user needs as inputs. The Communication Consultants (Web Communications Advisors) will guide clients in developing GC-wide content to ensure horizontal alignment, build connections that allow for integration and elimination of duplication, and improve cross-promotion and integration with other departments, branches, areas, and content. The Communication Consultants (Web Communications Advisors) provide advice on online trends, Information Architecture design, website management principles, and Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) web standards including the Canada.ca Design System. They will liaise between the project clients and the project’s Web publishing and Web writing resources on technical aspects, internal processes, Web writing, analytics and templates. Supported by the Technical Team Lead and CNSC Senior Communication Consultants (Web Communications Advisors), these resources will discuss digital communications needs and provide recommendations to CNSC clients and stakeholders on a case-by-case basis and will be assigned specific sections of the website to review, edit, make accessible, and coordinate the publishing aspects of their work. Meetings will be held with internal CNSC contacts as required.
