Description of the Requirement: The work is required for the Canadian Ombudsperson for Responsible Enterprise (the CORE or the Ombud). The CORE is an independent human rights Ombud with a global mandate, who works at arms-length from DFATD. The contractor is to provide the Ombud with strategic and executive communications advice and products on an ongoing basis, to effectively communicate key messages and engage key stakeholders (media, public, government, private and plural stakeholders) in the area of Business and Human Rights and effectively deliver on Ombud’s mandate, on a monthly retainer basis. This requirement is for one (1) Communications Specialists (Senior) for a one (1) year period with the option of two additional one (1) year periods.
